Where did the spirit of these forums go? I remember I could get you guys worked into a frenzy! Now it seems like all these little pricks with smart [censored] remarks are making the forum totally unfun for you, like you make a long heart felt post, and they just say "Chuck Norris doesn't approve of this thread" well the "Forum Troll" is a very difficult opponent to beat, almost impossible! BUT SHIM (Im not going to say "She because thats sexist, and im not going to say HE because anyone that makes such replies are OBVIOULY not a man... so... shim) anyway To beat the forum troll you simply have to wish them away, this is easy, what you do, is IGNORE the troll. Remember you give them their power, the more you [censored] and moan the larger and more powerful shim gets (Before any of yous consider me a troll from the post, while its true I did post in Troll fashion, the difference was My posts was never a quick one two word reply like. ZOMGFCCKBBQPWNSAUCE <---- Or some bullshyte lingo like this, I shat out the TRUTH, and Like it or not, I didn't /don't care because Im going to speak whats on my mind, and if we have some little dipshits ruining the forums for everyone, its time we band together and put a stop to them. I suggest everyone start IGNORING these morons and lets get back to Just pissing each other off, and letting these .... Jerkoffs get back to whatever Nerdy carracing, I sit at advance auto parts forum they came from!

I know a lot of you older folk like Mikmo and LPDFTBL and all the really really old people feel the need to reply to Stupid people sometimes, but the worst fear of a troll, is no attention, so..... Advice never comes free, this is gold in your pocket if you just IGNORE the smartasses, and start just banning shim's they have no business here! Trust me that "need a new e-mail address / name" bit they will stop making UID's after a while (Trust me) They won't want to make names just to be removed so I know the mods are probably busy doing this [censored] as it is, but remember you have the power at your fingertips don't ask dont' talk [censored] over, if you make a boo boo it can be fixed, im living proof, I don't think anyone has ever been banned as much as I! So FELLOW LPD FOLLOWERS If you don't want to see what some have spent years making what it was, don't let these dipshits ruin the fun. I also would like to bring to the attention (Not sure if the mods can update the fourms or what) but SOME forums have the option per user to IGNORE posters, Ex.

Lets say you don't like ol' freddy (FU) anyway to the left of my post near my avatar, EACH user will have a check box (IGNORE USER) they check it, and user goes away, NEVER sees anything said poster posts... thats needs to be looked into it could solve many problems!!

One thing I have thought about that Freddy mentioned is the ignore user feature. Sure, there are probably some that would use it on me, that's fine - it's each user's choice - but having the ability to ignore who you wish to would improve the forum by leaps and bounds IMHO. It would cut down on a lot of crap throwed back and forth by users who just can't get along for whatever reason & trolling could be kept at a minimum by using the ignore selection. This feature is an option on almost every messageboard that is on the WWW and I am pretty sure it could be implemented on this board as well.

But truthfully it is hard to resist some of the kids on here. It's like giving candy to a baby, you give them a little taste and then you take it away and watch them throw a fit and make an idiot out of themselves, while all the time you just say. Ok now. But yeah lately some of it hasn't been to funny. And when it does cause some to quit posting and others to leave. Yeah you need to address it.
We got a good thing here. No use a few bad apples messing it up. Sometimes it's better to toss the rotten apples, so they don't spoil the whole bunch. And maybe time some of the good apples remember it's not always just their basket that is shining. I know that last one will be hard for some. Think about it.

Honestly though Id send Hostboard a Tech support e-mail jim or Rocketer (whoever pays for the forums and could have authority to make this happen) And see if this is doable because it would really make YOUR jobs easier too, You'd still have to Ban the idiots from time to time, but for the most part, the stuipt [censored] that pisses a lot of people off into not posting would be a click away from FIXING it on their own! I've seen lots of "These fourms aren't the same posts" lately and I figured Id throw my 2 cents in.
